BBQ Jalapeno Poppers

BBQ Jalapeno Poppers
  • 20 Jalapenos
  • 8 ounce cream cheese.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 scallion thinly sliced
  • Good quality bacon
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce
  1. Cut Jalapeno's in half trying to keep stem in tact. WEAR GLOVES!!
  2. Scoop out seeds and membrane, unless you are brave and like a lot of heat. WEAR GLOVES!!
  3. Mix cheeses together and fold in scallions.
  4. Fill jalapenos with cream cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap peppers with bacon, you will want to trim to the size you need to cover. Don't wrap too tightly because as it bakes the bacon will shrink.
  6. Put toothpick through center to keep bacon in place, and lay on baking sheet.
  7. Brush with your favorite BBQ sauce
  8. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour.
