Hands Down Best Mac and Cheese

January 20, 2013

I wish I could take credit for this Macaroni and Cheese.  My friend Traci has been making this for years, a family tradition handed down from her Mother.  Whenever she invites our family over for dinner we know we can expect our favorite Mac and Cheese.  I asked Traci if I could make this for my sons basketball team.  It’s a tradition to make a pasta dinner for the team the night before the big Friday night games, and last Thursday I hosted at my house with two other great Moms.  This Thursday night was a little special, because we incorporated inviting all the moms too,  so I made two 3 pound casseroles:))  The kids knocked off the first one easily .  The Moms did a pot luck sort of thing and each person brought girl friendly food.  After about an hour or so,  slowly but surely each and every single Mom asked for tastes of the mac and cheese.  Hands down, voted best ever!!!  This recipe is so easy!!!  If you read my philosophy above, this does not fall into my normal criteria of cooking, but as I stated a little bit of everything makes the world go around.  I will make this again and again and again!!!!
