My Mom’s Cranberry Sauce

October 26, 2012

I have been asked for some good Thanksgiving recipes.  The next month I am going to try to get out as many of my cherished Holiday dishes I can.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite meals, that I look forward to each year.  My mom put together the best spread throughout my childhood and into my adult life.  I have slowly taken over that role.  I have and always will mirror my Thanksgiving table to that of my moms.  Tradition is key when it comes to holidays.  We all have our expectations of how the meal is going to be.  I am all for tradition, but I hope in the next couple of weeks I can give you some ideas that can give your thanksgiving meal a little taste from my table;)

I love this cranberry sauce, and because I made it for you I have been eating it all week:))) Yum!

My Mom's Cranberry Sauce

  2. Add cranberries and cook until they have popped, DO NOT STIR!
  3. Add cut apples and pears and cook for 10 more minutes, do not overcook.
